Exquisite Exterior

Exquisite Exterior

Rugged as a crossover SUV, stylish as a mid-class sedan and more affordable than both, the Chevrolet Captiva redefines the seven-seater compact crossover SUV. Its signature dual-port Chevrolet grille hints at its capabilities. The side profile is dominated by bold wheel cut-outs, wheels up to 19” and a powerful shoulder line. Captiva also offers three-dimensional headlamps, turn-signal lamps integrated into its exterior mirrors and air intake ports in the front fenders. Bold wheel arches, protective mouldings and rear skid plates make the Captiva a real eye-catcher.

Generous interior dimensions, tons of cargo space and ample legroom for seven make the Chevrolet Captiva the ultimate affordable crossover SUV for long journeys. And it’s one of the few models available as a seven-seater and still considered a compact crossover SUV.

Comprehensive Safety

Comprehensive Safety

In the event of a frontal impact, the Captiva's pedals automatically decouple, reducing the risk of leg injuries. Chevrolet's Electronic Stability Program system is married to the latest generation ABS system to ensure Captiva always goes where you want it to. Likewise, a number of additional systems - including HBA (Hydraulic Brake Assist), HDC (Hill Descent Control) and ARP (Active Rollover Protection) all combine to provide surefooted handling in any situation.

HDC (Hill Descent Control)

HDC (Hill Descent Control)

Activated with the touch of a button, the Captiva Hill Descent Control System uses engine control and automatic braking to limit downhill speed to a maximum speed of 7 km/hr. It prevents wheel lock-ups and ensures the driver retains full steering control.

Electric Parking Brake Dynamic Assist (EPBDA)

The Electric Parking Brake Dynamic Assist (EPBDA) is a feature of the New Captiva which allows the electronic brake control module to apply four-corner braking in conditions where it is necessary to safely slow down the vehicle.
